INTERESTS
I’ve lived in Minneapolis for nearly 16 years, but have never been too outdoorsy. Recently, I have become a volunteer Minnesota Master Naturalist through the University of Minnesota extension, specifically for the Prairies & Potholes ecosystems. My current favorite grass is sideoats grama (Bouteloua curtipendula). I’m a “bug” person; I keep a colony of isopods and enjoy checking up on the spiders that live in my home. In addition to learning about natural history & exploring our regional landscapes, I am broadly interested in intellectual history and its intersection with and influence on natural history. If any of that sounds interesting to you, please reach out!
