Geospatial Support Assistant, PGC

What I Do

I work with scientists in the polar community, providing them with the geospatial data and support that they need to carry out their research. I also help organize the digitization and cataloging of historical polar maps and work to update placename data in Antarctica.

Education

  • BS Geography-Geographic Information Science, University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, May 2014
  • Master of Geographic Information Sciences (MGIS), University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, Expected December 2016

Interests

I have always loved studying maps and atlases, which led me to pursuing a degree in Geography/GIS. I enjoy traveling to and learning about other places. In the Twin Cities I like to go to concerts and try new restaurants.

I grew up in Colorado and I try to go back as often as I can to hike and ski. Go Broncos!
