What I Did at the PGC

Since starting at the PGC in April, I have been exposed to a variety of new skills that I can use in my future career. I have become familiar with the orthorectification process, used global mapper, improved my skills with Arc 10, and developed a good understanding of the importance of naming conventions and data management. I also manage imagery delivery by FedEx for the PGC. My favorite project so far has been developing imagery of Adele Penguin populations on Cape Royds and Cape Crozier.

Education

  • BS, Environmental Science Policy and Management, University of Minnesota, expected 2013

Personal Info / Interests

I live in a housing cooperative with 30 other men and women from ages 18 to 30 and love every minute of it. I spend a lot of my time outdoors with friends and family especially on the St. Croix River.
